Gold Medal Miles

Gold Medal Miles

A Healthier You 2002 TM, Utah’s Health Legacy, was an initiative between the Salt Lake Organizing Committee for the Olympic Winter Games of 2002 (SLOC) and 18 health organizations located in Utah. The goal of the initiative was for all Utahns to achieve positive lifestyle changes through the spirit of the 2002 Games.

As part of this initiative, Gold Medal Mile legacy sites were established throughout Utah. Gold Medal Miles are one-mile walking paths that have been planned with the beginning walker in mind. These walking paths are easily accessible, with restrooms and other facilities close at hand. Gold Medal Miles are marked with appropriate signage and are fun to visit.

Davis County is proud to house five Gold Medal Miles! Click on the name for complete map and directions.
