Friends Board

The Friends Board is a 501(c)(3) entity which has several tasks: (1) Increase awareness of the problem of child abuse in the community and also of the problem with the process the child victim is subjected to over the course of an investigation, prosecution and treatment of a case of child abuse and (2) raise funds and other resources to create a local Children’s Justice Center and to support the on-going programs of the local Children’s Justice Center. The membership of this board is not set by statute but is best made up of individuals with high civic commitment and having numerous contacts in the community to effectively generate on-going support for the local CJC.
