Section 12.04.020 Development permit.

    Before any subdivision plat which contains property located within the critical flood area is recorded, a development permit shall be obtained from Davis County. As defined in this section "critical flood area" is the area designated on the official flood control base map, or where no area is defined on the official flood control base map, it is the area within one hundred (100) feet of any of the drainage systems or facilities identified in Section 12.04.010. Application for a development permit shall be made on forms furnished by the Davis County Flood Control Department and may include but not be limited to, plans, in duplicate, drawn to scale showing the nature, location, dimensions, and elevations of the proposed subdivision. Upon review of the subdivision plat, the Flood Control Director shall identify any rights-of-way or easements needed for flood control purposes. (Ord. 1-1987 § 2)
