Preventing Accidental Injury

The Davis County Health Department's Health Promotion Bureau is proud to be the lead organization of Safe Kids Davis County. The mission of Safe Kids Davis County is to make Davis County a safer place for children by preventing injuries and fatalities though:

  • Raising community awareness
  • Influencing policies
  • Promoting safety
  • Establishing private and public partnerships

Safe Kids Davis County is directly affiliated with Safe Kids Worldwide, which is the first and only national organization dedicated solely to the prevention of unintentional childhood injury – the number one killer.
