Bomb Technicians

The Davis County Sheriff’s Office has trained Explosive Ordinance Disposal Experts or Bomb Technicians.  Weber County Sheriff’s Office supplements this team with one of their deputies who is equally trained.  The incidents of bomb threats and small homemade explosives seem to be on the rise.  As one of the few law enforcement agencies providing Explosive Ordinance Disposal (EOD) services north of Salt Lake, our Bomb Technicians frequently respond throughout Davis, Weber and Morgan counties.  Once on scene of an unsuspected or actual explosive device, Davis County Sheriff’s Bomb Technicians have the equipment and expertise to render the situation safe and dispose of harmful explosives.
