New Animal Services Building |
|
|
Animal Care of Davis County (ACDC) is the only
animal shelter in Davis County. It accepts all
animals, regardless of their temperament or
health. The current shelter, built in 1985, has
gone through renovations over the past 39 years,
but still does not meet industry standards.
To ensure that ACDC can continue to serve and
educate our community, find homes for homeless
pets, and support public safety, the time has
come to build a new animal shelter. A
feasibility study was completed last year and
ACDC is currently moving forward to get
proposals for construction of a new facility
with groundbreaking expected later this year.
This project will be funded by Davis County
through savings from the capital fund. Read more
