Meet The Candidates |

|
The League of Women Voters of Davis County will host a Meet the Candidates forum for primary candidates running for county commissioner, sheriff, and clerk. The event is Monday, June 1, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm at the Davis Technical College Business Resource Center, 450 Simmons Way, Kaysville. All residents are invited to attend.

Primary Election - June 23
|
Primary Election ballots begin arriving in mailboxes June 2. Voters can return ballots by mail, at an official drop box, or at a polling location on Election Day, June 23. Ballots must be received by the Clerk’s Office no later than 8:00 pm on Election Day. Learn more about candidates and election information through the Davis County Clerk’s Office voter insight page.

Western Sports Park Scores A Record Weekend
|
|
|
Western Sports Park hosted 11,600 athletes and patrons from May 7-9 for three major events: the USA Wrestling Utah West Regionals in the CommonSpirit Center Arenas, the National Power Lifting Championship in Building 4, and Intermountain Lacrosse's Lax Fest. Elder Abuse Awareness Day Virtual Conference
|
The free Utah Elder Abuse Awareness Day virtual conference is Tuesday, June 16, 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Professionals and community members will learn to protect older adults from isolation, neglect, and mistreatment. Speakers include Dr. Kristin Lees Haggerty of the National Collaboratory to Address Elder Mistreatment and Dr. Timothy Farrell of University of Utah Health.

Mural Grant Program

Applications are open for the 2026 Discover Mural Grant program, which funds new public murals on exterior walls throughout Davis County. Matching grants of up to $10,000 are available for artwork celebrating positive community images. The application deadline is Friday, June 12, 2026, at 11:59 pm.
