Long-Term Care Ombudsmen are advocates for residents of nursing homes, board and care homes, assisted living facilities and similar adult care facilities. They work to resolve problems of individual residents and to bring about changes at the local, state and national levels that will improve residents’ care and quality of life.

Caregivers are faced with a host of new responsibilities many of which are unfamiliar and intimidating and can ultimately create caregiver burnout.   As a result, the Caregiver Support Program is a short term program that provides assistance and support to these caregivers

This Class is designed to help youth overcome nicotine addiction.  The course discusses some of the dangers of tobacco use, addresses widespread cultural beliefs and norms involving tobacco, and dispels some of the misconceptions regarding electronic cigarettes.  At the completion of the END class, youth will have a better understanding of life skills and will be better prepared to overcome nicotine addiction.
