Groundbreaking on New Antelope Island Learning Center and Theater

Antelope Island State Park held a groundbreaking ceremony in July to celebrate the upcoming construction of the new and improved visitor and learning center. The project will transform the current 5,600 square foot facility into a 27,000 square foot complex with updated educational displays, added restrooms, office space, an enlarged gift shop, a conference room, and a catering kitchen.

A large-format theater with over 200 seats will also be part of the new Antelope Island visitor center. The existing building will be renovated as part of the project and will serve as a state-of-the-art learning center for K-12 students and university institutions.
