Great Salt Lake Strategic Plan

During the 2023 Legislative General Session, HB491 passed, creating the Office of the Great Salt Lake Commissioner and requiring a strategic plan to get the Great Salt Lake to a healthier range and sustain it. The Great Salt Lake Strategic Plan was just released. It is a roadmap that builds off the work the state and others have already begun to help improve the Great Salt Lake. See the plan here:

Republican Party
The Republican Party of Utah will hold a Preference Poll at the March 5th Caucus Meetings to select their nominee for the President of the United States and will not participate in the State’s Presidential Primary Election.

Democratic Party
The Democratic Party of Utah has chosen to participate in the State's Presidential Primary Election. Voters who are affiliated with the Democratic Party will receive a ballot by mail; all others wishing to participate need to request a ballot. For more information, visit DavisVotes.com.
