Freedom Hills Trail is well graded and switchbacks up the face of the mountain about a half mile before linking with Fire Break Road. At this road, it is generally level and has great views of the valley. The trail head is located at Freedom Hills Park.
A marker at the southeast corner of the park gives directions to complete a "Gold Medal Mile" along the paved path around the perimeter of the park. A one-mile compass course also begins at this marker.
The Bowl Area Trails are located in the same area as Deuel Creek Trail. It is an open space area of dirt and rock used by ATV’s and hikers, approximately 0.2 mile long,with rolling hills around its perimeter.

This is part of a larger trail system intended to extend from Canada to Mexico. Youwill be on top of the world as you hike along ridges, through meadows, and up canyons. Some parts of this trail are shared with motorized vehicles.
This Layton City Park contains 4.5 miles of paved trails that run next to 100 acres of sometimes-dense vegetation and more-open marshland. Although just minutes from large subdivisions and busy streets, the park is a quiet retreat in the bottom of Hobbs Hollow. Running through Kays Creek Corridor, the east side of the trail runs next to Hobbs Reservoir and often next to Kays Creek. It’s a quick retreat from the bustle of city life and a haven filled with a variety of wildlife and birds. Four trailheads provide a variety of access points, and the trails can be enjoyed in multiple directions. Pick one, or stroll them all.The trails heads are located at:Flint Street access located at 500 S Flint St,Angle Street access located at 825 S Angel St,Adam Welker Trail Head located at 2050 E 2600 N,Country Hollow access located at 1450 E 2225 N.
Mountain View Estates Park has a playground, bowery, picnic table, open fields, restrooms, and access to Legacy Parkway.
Valentine Estates Park (2) is another private park for HOA members only. It has a playground and small bowery.
The 500 S Legacy Trailhead has parking and sitting areas, a kiosk, limited landscaping, and bike parking.
