This is a short urban nature walk through a wooded area paralleling part of Davis Creek. During the spring a pleasant brook tumbles along beside you.
This is a fun trail with several easy-access trailheads throughout the city at the Davis County Fairgrounds, Ezra T. Clark Park, Lagoon, and Farmington Pond. The trail is moderate, but if you take some of the branches there are more difficult areas. This trail offers some great views of the valley and mountain scenery, and it heads up the canyon to end at an old silver mine.Length: 8.5 miles
Lagoon trail is a 1.7 mile point-to-point trail for all age levels featuring a river. The trail is primarily used for biking, trail running, and walking and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
This is a beautiful urban nature walk through and around Woodland Park. There are tables for picnics, a volleyball court, and a large lawn for a variety of games and play.
This trail takes you to and around the beautiful pasture lands of Buffalo Ranch where you can watch championship stallions grazing. You will pass two ponds abundant with waterfowl. Foxes and pheasants hide in the bushes along the way. The trail also connects to the D & RGW Rail Trail. Distance: 4.5 miles
This is a beautiful urban nature walk paralleling Haight Creek. There are plenty of cattails and willows to hide the wildlife. Deer, foxes, raccoons, and pheasants can be seen in this delightful wetland. Distance: ~2 miles down and back

This is a beautiful hiking trail with some washed out sections. A side canyon takes you to a striking canyon overlook where you can watch the birds soar. Distance: 1.4 miles roundtrip
