The Food $ense website has information on meal planning, cooking, and nutrition.  Food $ense (SNAP-Ed) also provides nutrition education to SNAP recipients and food stamp eligibles. Food Sense (SNAP-Ed) offers a variety of classes to expand participants’ knowledge of nutrition, budgeting, cooking, food safety, and physical activity. These hands-on classes are taught by Nutrition Education Assistants (NEAs), who are trained through the National Nutrition Paraprofessional Certification Program, created by Food Sense (SNAP-Ed) of Utah.

Have you always wanted to learn more about gardening? Do you want to help the community with your gardening knowledge? Now is your chance! Master Gardeners attend 40 hours of class lecture and give back to the community by providing at least 40 hours of community service. They learn through classroom lectures, reading course materials, completing a worksheet from the class each week, giving hand-on service, and participating opportunities to instruct others in the community.

Utah's Oasis of Hope. Sharing and caring for the hungry, hurting and hope-seeking. Counseling, food pantry, quality of life education and training. Services are free or by donation only. Serves residents ages 18 and older.

Mental Health First Aid is an 8 hour course open to all members of the community, that teaches participants how to help a person developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis using Action Plan ALGEE.  Assess for risk of suicide or harm, Listen non-judgmentally, Give reassurance and information, Encourage appropriate professional help, and Encourage self-help and other support strategies.

Children's Service Society's mission is to meet the growth and developmental needs of children, foster quality child care, and promote positive relationships in families. The organization is the oldest non-denominational welfare and family support agency in Utah. They provide relief to destitute children. Services include adoption, temporary homes, home visitation, kinship care support, grandfamilies support, support groups, crisis intervention, legal guardianship, etc.
