Shooting Range Update
img

The Davis County Shooting Range, located at 1649 E. 650 N. in Kaysville, is set to reopen in January 2025. Public access to the range closed in August 2024 after the County and Wasatch Shooters Association, the company contracted to manage the range, did not move forward with a contract extension.

For the past several months, the County has been engaged in decluttering the range and has recently started with many improvements to the roads, parking lots, shooting bays, and structures. It is estimated that improvements to the range will be completed at the beginning of the new year, with the range opening sometime in January 2025. In addition to the physical improvements, the County will oversee the day-to-day management of the range with improved scheduling and access for the public. Additional details and scheduling options will be forthcoming once improvements are complete.
