Transportation
Buses are available at all three centers. When you desire bus service to the
center, arrangements are made by calling the center near you. You are picked
up, transported to the center, and then returned home.
One day a week the bus is available to take seniors to places like the bank or
grocery shopping. Another day in the afternoon the bus can take seniors to
medical appointments if the appointments are in an area of Davis County
serviced by that center.
Rides are provided between 8:30 a.m. and 4:15 p.m., Monday through Friday. Call
for a ride appointment at least four days in advance. Contributions are accepted.
Medical Transportation is available for medical and dental appointments or to
visit a spouse in the hospital or nursing home on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and
includes service within Davis County only. Must be 60 years or older or a disabled
adult to access medical transportation. Make appointments between the hours of
9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Call Aging Services at 451-3377 with your transportation
request at least one week ahead. Donations are accepted.
