Voter Registration

Prior to voting in an election in Davis County, you must be a registered voter. Davis County is committed to ensuring that the registration process is provided to all eligible citizens in accordance with applicable laws and regulations in the most efficient, effective and timely manner.​


Voter Profile

Your Voter Profile allows you to view your voter registration information, your elected officials, your sample ballot, or locate your polling location. 

Register Online

Voters with a current and valid Utah Driver License can register or update their registration online.

Register In Person or By-Mail

Print a paper registration form to complete and return to the Clerk's Office in person or by-mail.   


Registration Requirements

  • Citizen of the United States
  • Resident of Utah for at least 30 days immediately before the election
  • At least 18 years old on the day of the election
  • Reside in the voting district or precinct in which the person applies to register to vote

Registration Deadlines

By Mail Registration Deadline
Voter registration forms must be postmarked at least 30 days before an election in order to be eligible to vote in the upcoming election.

Early Voting Registration Deadline
The last day to register in-person or online and be eligible to participate in early voting is 15 days before the day of election.

In-Person Registration Deadline
You may register in-person at the County Clerk's office up to 7 days before the day of election.You will not be eligible to participate in early voting, but you will be able to vote on election day.

Online Registration Deadline
You may register online up to 7 days before the day of election. You will not be eligible to participate in early voting, but you will be able to vote on election day.

Privacy Notice

Voter registration records are considered public under Utah Code § 63G-2-301, excluding driver license or identification card numbers, Social Security numbers, and email addresses. The portion of a voter registration form that lists a person's date of birth is also a private record, the use of which is restricted to government officials, government employees, political parties or certain other persons.

If you believe that disclosure of any information associated with your voter registration to a person other than a government official or government employee is likely to put you or a member of your household's life or safety at risk, or to put you or a member of your household at risk of being stalked or harassed, you may apply to the County Clerk or the Lieutenant Governor  to have your entire voter registration record classified as private.
