Prior to the adoption of Ord. 13-2003 on 12/02/2003, Section 10.04.010 read as follows.

     It is unlawful to park a vehicle or recreational vehicle or farm equipment on any street in the unincorporated area of Davis County between the hours of twelve midnight and six a.m. from November 1st to March 1st, except as follows:
    A.    Physicians during emergency calls;
    B.    Residents or persons visiting, when required by emergency or other unusual circumstances, may apply to the Davis County sheriff’ s office for a permit for all night parking on the street. The Sheriff’ s Department, for good cause shown, may issue a permit and shall issue a sticker to be placed where it can be seen by the owner of the automobile to be so parked. (Ord. 7-1986)

    As used in this chapter:

A.    "Vehicle" means any motor vehicle, trailer, off-highway vehicle, manufactured or mobile home, or farm equipment.

B.    "Public street" means the entire width between property lines of every highway, road, or street that is open to the public for purposes of vehicular traffic.
