Section 10.12.240 UTAH2000 Analyzer Specifications
Prior to the adoption of Ord. 03-2002 on 10/01/2002, Section 10.12.240 read as follows.
A. Maximum Allowable Opacity Limits.
1. Heavy duty vehicles (sixteen thousand one
(16,001) pounds gross vehicle weight rating
(GVWR) and larger):
Seventy (70) percent opacity.
2. Light duty vehicles (sixteen thousand (16,000)
pounds gross vehicle weight rating
(GVRW) and smaller):
Thirty-five (35) percent opacity for non-turbocharged vehicles;
Thirty (30) percent opacity for turbocharged vehicles. (Ord. 7-1998

The Division shall perform overt and covert audits of the
enhanced basic I/M program stations
and shall conform with the reporting requirements as contained in Part VII Environmental
Protection Agency, 40 CFR Part 51.
