All Utah students in Preschool and grades K-12 are invited to participate in the Great Salt Lake Bird Festival Student Art Contest for cash prizes. Rules and Guidelines may be found in the 2024 Student Art Contest packet linked below.

Thank you for participating in the 2024 student art contest. All artwork has been mailed back via USPS and all winners have been notified. 2024 online art gallery coming soon!

Artwork Viewing

Student artwork is available for viewing in the Auditorium at the Eccles Wildlife Education Center on Friday, May 17th, 2024 from 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm and on Saturday, May 18th, 2024 from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. Student art contest awards will be presented on Friday, May 17th, 2024 at 6:00 pm.

We invite students and families to attend our Opening Night Social, where the student art will be showcased, and awards will be presented for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places in each age category. There will also be an award presented for the Best of Show. We encourage all participants to come out and participate in our opening social. Light refreshments will be served.
