Get Your Vehicle Tested Early

Did you know your vehicle’s emission and safety inspections could be performed early? You are allowed to have your vehicle inspected two months before your vehicle registration renewal comes due. For example, if your vehicle comes due in December, you may take your vehicle to a Certified Emissions Testing or Repair Facility and Safety Inspection Station as early as October 1st.

By having your vehicle inspected early, you give yourself a two-month window to have any necessary repairs performed. This prevents that end of the month stress, which occurs when your vehicle is tested at the end of the month, and fails. Suddenly you have repairs to make and to pay for, and to top it off -- your vehicle registration is about to expire. Avoid that end of the month rush and all the stress that accompanies it. Get your vehicle tested early!

Ozone Tips

We would like to offer some helpful tips for cutting down on ozone air pollution.
  • Car-pool when you can.
  • Check the air pressure in your tires frequently. You will get better gas mileage if your tires are properly inflated, and your tires will wear longer.
  • Consolidate shopping trips and errands, and use the most efficient route for accomplishing them. You will put fewer miles driven on your vehicle and by doing so spend less on your fuel costs. Please do your part and protect the environment. Good air quality is important to us all.
