Volunteer Opportunities

The In-Home Services Bureau offers a wide range of opportunities to volunteer your time and talents in our community. Volunteers are needed in a variety of settings.

• Distribute home delivered meals
• Become kitchen helpers
• Teach classes at our senior activity centers
• Serve as a front desk host or hostess
• Be entertainers
• Conduct "Friendly Visitors" or "Telephone Reassurance" programs
• Provide transportation for errands or medical appointments
• Help with yard care or snow removal

Volunteer Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be in good health, outgoing, and friendly
• Pass a background check
• Possess current drivers license/insurance OR a state ID
• Fill out the applicable volunteer forms
