Question, Persuade and Refer (QPR) Training
Like CPR, QPR is a simple process that anyone can be trained to use, to help prevent a suicidal act.  Participants learn how to recognize the warning signs for someone who may be at risk for suicide, and then get them to appropriate help.

safeTALK Suicide Prevention Training
This three hour training workshop features training to identify persons with thoughts of suicide and community first aid resources to connect themto help.  The simple yet effective steps: Tell, Ask, Listen and KeepSafe.  This training is approved for 3 social work CEUs.

Mental Health First Aid
This eight hour course teaches participants how to help a person developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis.  The help is given until appropriate treatment and support is received or until the crisis resolves.

Youth Mental Health First Aid
This eight hour course introduces participants to the unique risk factors and warning signs of mental health problems in adolescents, builds understanding of the importance of early intervention, and teaches individuals how to help an adolescent in crisis or experiencing a mental health challenge. Mental Health First Aid uses role-playing and simulations to demonstrate how to assess a mental health crisis; select interventions and provide initial help; and connect young people to professional, peer, social, and self-help care.
