The North Branch Library was opened in 1975. At that time, a senior citizen's
center was established on the lower level. In 2001, the senior citizen's center
relocated.
The North Branch Library provides approximately 18,000 square feet for public
service, which includes on the lower level an auditorium which seats 250.
The North Branch displays painting by two notable Utah artists--Tony Rasmussen and
Richard Murray. It is the most active branch in terms of the cooperative borrowing
agreement between the Davis County Library and the Weber County Library, checking
out more than 12,000 books a year to Weber County residents.
