I know I returned a book but it is still showing on my card?
There were items returned just prior to the closure of the library that did not get checked in. These items are safe and ready to be checked in once the libraries reopen. Once the libraries reopen if an item is still showing checked out on your card, please contact your local branch for assistance.

How does curbside pickup work?

Once your hold becomes available, library staff will process it and contact you to set up a pickup date & time.

Remember: It will take additional time to process holds, please allow staff the time they need to make your hold delivery as safe and simple as possible.

What does the Library Offer that I can do from home?
The Library offers many options including downloadable books, audiobooks, and videos; as well as online databases and temporary library cards. Since our closure, we’ve created a Stuck at Home page to help you know what is available. We’re always on the lookout for more options, so check back frequently.

I don’t have a library card or my card has expired. Can I get a card while you’re closed?
Yes, the library is currently offering temporary library cards which will give you access to all of the online databases and materials. Visit our Temporary Card information page or the Library's Facebook page for information.

When will meeting spaces be available again?
Currently, the Library is not taking new meeting room applications, but we will post information to this page when we begin doing so. Use of Library meeting rooms and buildings follows the directives of the Davis County Commission and the Davis County Health Department along with all recommendations of state and federal governments.

What about storytimes and Library programs?
All events, programs, and outreach activities have been canceled until further notice. The Library has also canceled all meeting room reservations . If you had a library meeting room scheduled and have not been contacted, please reach out to us through the Library’s contact us page.
