Smokey (Dog)


Smokey is a 9 month old Australian Shepherd. He is neutered, up to date on his shots, and housebroken. Smokey loves children and other dogs but not cats. He is a very smart dog with a lot of energy. Smokey needs an active family to keep up with him. Smokey is in kennel #23 NK.

Lillie (Cat)


Lillie is a 6 year old Persian. She is a very sweet cat who came to us very neglected. Her fur was matted and she was underweight. With a good hair cut and a little TLC she is doing much better. Lillie is housebroken. She in is in our Cat Room.

Hamsters (Hamsters)


We have Hamsters available for adoption! They are very hand tame and in good health. We have 7 babies and their mom. Our hamsters are $5 and cannot be bought as feeders.

Spot (Rabbit)


Spot is a 6 year old Rex Rabbit. He is a sweet little bunny who is quite hand tame. Spot needs a good family that has raised rabbits before. He is in our Rabbit hutch, please ask to see him.

Adopting an Animal

Those interested in adopting an animal from the Davis County animal shelter are welcome to come to the shelter and view the animals at any time during our normal business hours—8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Adoption transactions are done from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Our office is closed on Saturday & Sunday.
