Brian McKenzie - Davis County Clerk

Brian McKenzie serves as the elected Davis County Clerk, a role he assumed in 2022 following more than two decades of service within the Clerk’s office. He began his career with Davis County in 2004, working in various technical and administrative roles before serving as Chief Deputy Clerk from 2016 to 2022.

McKenzie holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and is a Certified Elections/Registration Administrator (CERA), a national credential completed through Auburn University and the Election Center. He also holds the Olene Walker VOTE Certification from Weber State University.

Throughout his 22-year tenure, McKenzie has worked across all core functional areas of the Clerk’s office, including:
  • Elections Administration: Managing local, state, and federal election cycles, voter registration audits, and secure voting hardware operations.
  • Public Services: Overseeing the processing and administration of passport applications and marriage licenses.
  • Commission Services: Supervising the administrative support, public notices, and meeting minutes for the Davis County Commission.
  • Records and Compliance: Managing public records requests and ensuring office adherence to state statutory requirements and data privacy laws.
