For the past seven years, Kate has been actively involved in local government, serving the people of Bountiful on the City Council. While national politics often dominate the headlines, the state of our streets, the safety of our neighborhoods, and the quality of our shared spaces profoundly impact our sense of belonging and community. With your support, Kate will continue to drive progress as Mayor by completing Bountiful’s General Plan update, expanding the Bountiful Fiber network, implementing the Trails Master Plan, and ensuring Bountiful is well-prepared for the future without compromising its unique qualities. In her professional life, Kate is the Director of Government Affairs for the law firm of Holland & Hart, overseeing advocacy efforts across nine western states. Her extensive experience spans decades of working alongside elected officials, from Capitol Hill to City Hall. This background equips her with the knowledge and relationships necessary to lead effectively, navigate challenging situations, and foster collaboration to achieve common goals. Kate is a graduate of Westminster University. Along with her husband, Michael a teacher at Viewmont High School, she enjoys camping, mountain biking, skiing, and hiking across Utah with their dog Henry.

I am running for Bountiful City Council and ask for your vote. With 30 years of experience in the financial services industry as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and financial advisor, I've helped individuals and companies achieve their financial goals. You can trust that the experience and knowledge I have gained will be used to make a difference for you! A core principle that has shaped my professional and personal life is: “Live within your means.” This applies to both individuals and governments. During my career, I have never met anyone who wants to pay more taxes. This means government must operate as efficiently and effectively as possible to limit the tax burden on citizens. It is also important for governments (and businesses) to identify key areas where investment is required to maintain the high level of service residents have come to expect. I am asking for your vote so I can represent you as a member of the Bountiful City Council. I believe the future of Bountiful is bright, and I look forward to using my experience to benefit the amazing people of Bountiful.

I’ve lived Bountiful for 19 years and have grown to love this city.
I have experienced the fulfilment of giving back to my community and know that being on the city council will be both challenging and rewarding. I’ve worked with community organisations throughout Utah such as: Your community connection; the Utah food bank; work for food; the blind school; & community adult reading.
I have worked in the business world as a stockbroker, retirement specialist, and small business manager. I know the challenges to get things done right with notable skill, quality, alacrity, & celerity.
What we need for Bountiful is a government truly focused on the people; to bean inclusive and welcoming city. A city with core principles of inclusivity; equality; and tolerance.
The policies, laws and practices need to be people and community centered to help and uplift the population and bring us together in a healthy happy community culture!
We need to Fight, fix, and secure our city!
Fight for universal healthcare
Fix the economy so that it works for everyone not just the rich & multinational businesses
Secure our democracy from the special interests that are dictating our laws.

I am Luanne Hudson and I am eager to serve on the Centerville City Council. I have lived in Centerville for 32 years. Now semi-retired, I was born and raised in Davis County. I graduated from University of Utah with a degree in journalism and worked for decades in TV, radio, newspaper, corporate communications and education. I have many hobbies including skiing, gardening and grandchildren. I am fascinated by nature, history and science. I grew up with the idea that, in America, all people are created equal. Unfortunately, unaffordable housing and wages that do not keep up with rising costs mean many of our children and grandchildren cannot afford to raise families in the great city of Centerville. I am running for City Council to continue the legacy of Centerville as a place where working class families can thrive. Housing, living wage and Great Salt Lake; it is with these and other topics in mind that I join you in working to nurture our community. We want to believe in the integrity of our institutions, and we do that by rolling up our sleeves and getting to work.

Centerville has always been home for me. From childhood to raising my family here with my husband Matt, I have valued the safety, connection, and small-town feel that make our community unique. I am a licensed civil engineer with nearly 30 years of experience in water and infrastructure planning. My career includes work with the Utah Division of Water Resources and Horrocks Engineers. On the Centerville Planning Commission and now the City Council, I have used this background to review complex projects, secure funding, and apply sound technical judgment to city decisions. I also bring a long record of community service through schools, church, and volunteer organizations. This professional and civic experience has taught me the importance of listening carefully, weighing facts, and preparing responsibly for the future. My priorities as your councilmember are: • Fiscal Responsibility – Balanced budgets, pursuing grants, and leveraging state and federal resources while carefully weighing impacts on residents. • Infrastructure & Water Planning – Smart, long-term investments in utilities, roads, and water. • Public Safety – Support for police, fire, and emergency services. • Balanced Growth & Quality of Life – Protecting Centerville’s family-friendly character while promoting recreation, arts, parks, and trails.

As my web address states "I LOVE CLEARFIELD!" When I first took office, I stated that our image, both from those inside and outside of the city, is one of the most important things we can focus on. If we don't show a positive image of Clearfield as people drive into our city, the likelihood of them ever wanting to bring their business to the city, or to choose to move here is pretty slim. As a City Council, we have taken an aggressive stance regarding our image. We put in new zoning along State Street which allows for more density, retail below residential and encourages walkability. While there will always be those who don't like the new look of our major corridors, it has truly changed how people outside of the city view us. Our image is changing. We have recently completed a project I have sought to do for years - the landscaping of our interchanges. We also began to focus more intentionally on our relationship with Hill AFB and changed our tagline to 'Utah's Military City.' People inside and outside of Utah are taking notice of our small city in northern Utah. There is more to come!

As a current member of the Clearfield City Council, I’ve worked hard to move our city forward by supporting public safety, responsible development, and the families and businesses that make Clearfield strong. I was proud to work with the North Davis Fire District when Davis County stepped away from paramedic services. Together, we launched a local paramedic program and built a state-of-the-art fire station to better serve our community. I also serve as Chair of Open Doors, a nonprofit that helps families break the cycle of poverty. That work has deepened my understanding of the real issues facing our residents. My focus remains on ensuring Clearfield grows wisely, stays connected, and remains a place where everyone belongs. I’m not here to play politics. I’m here to serve. With your support, I’ll continue to bring experience, balance, and results to the Council. Let’s keep building a Clearfield that lasts.

Clearfield is more than just my home, it’s where I’ve built community and found connection on our beautiful trails. I’m running for City Council because I care deeply about the people who live here. I want to help create a place where families can thrive, businesses can grow, and neighborhoods feel connected and welcoming. Currently, I serve on the Clearfield City Planning Commission, where I’ve gained firsthand experience with the city’s development and long-term vision. I also work with the Women’s State Legislative Council of Utah, where I collaborate with people of diverse backgrounds to advocate for policy that makes a real difference in our communities. I promise to always listen and be willing to learn, so I can represent everyones voices and interests.

My name is Karece Thompson, and I understand the challenges many families in our community face. Growing up, I experienced homelessness, and my single mother worked tirelessly to raise me while overcoming domestic violence. When I first moved to Utah, I arrived with just one bag of clothes. I enrolled at the Clearfield Job Corps Center, where I studied, worked hard, and graduated. That experience gave me the determination to create a better future for myself and my family. Today, I am a proud husband, father, and lifelong believer in Clearfield. I completed Clearfield Job Corps with a certification in Facilities Maintenance through the Home Builders Institute. Later, I pursued advanced training in Texas, earning a University of Oklahoma certification in Residential Child and Youth Care. I returned to Clearfield Job Corps as a residential counselor, mentoring at-risk youth for eight years. In 2020, Governor Gary Herbert appointed me to the Substance Use Disorder Counselor Licensing Board. I currently work at the Utah State Treasurer’s Office, supporting financial security for families statewide, while serving my second term on the Clearfield City Council. I lead with authenticity, listen with empathy, and act with courage always striving to ensure every voice is heard

Serving as your mayor for the past four years has been an incredible honor, and I hope I’ve earned both your trust and your vote. I’m running for a second, and final, term to continue serving our community and to see through the goals we set out to accomplish together. We’ve made great progress but there’s still more to do. I’m a proven leader, collaborator and relationship builder. I am a small business owner and a prior financial planner. Most importantly, I love Clinton! I remain committed to building a strong future for both current and future generations. Over the past four years, I’ve prioritized communication, transparency, public safety, economic growth, and responsible development. I haven’t done this work alone. Our city staff and council members share the same dedication to keeping Clinton a great place to call home. It takes collaborative leadership to build a strong future, and I promise to continue working with you over the next four years doing what’s best for our city as a whole. We may come from different neighborhoods, backgrounds, and walks of life, but I firmly believe that we are stronger together. Let’s keep delivering wins for Clinton!

For five years as a City Council member, I’ve heard a steady drumbeat from the people I was elected to represent: “We understand growth, but please do everything in your power to preserve our suburban hometown character.” Clinton is where I started my family 22 years ago, and it’s where I plan to stay. I’m running for mayor so I can protect it. I voted for fewer townhomes and more small single lots to support the housing shortage. I disagree with my opponent’s vision for four-story development on the south side. I was the driving force in 2021 to increase the number of police officers. I’ve championed code enforcement, business development, and beautification. I’ve argued against my opponent’s push for ongoing annual property tax increases. As a former journalist, I prioritize the people’s right to know. My record of clear, thorough communication shows I do my research. As mayor, I would give residents early opportunity for input so they don’t feel their leaders’ minds are already made up. No more last-minute overhauls to ordinances or development agreements. With careful planning, we can preserve the things we love while we grow.

I have been a resident of Clinton for 30 years. I love this town. I think there is a unique feeling and spirit to the residents of Clinton and I am passionate about preserving it. I have a track record of fighting for the citizens of Clinton to have a voice in what happens in their city. As a member of the City Council, that will my highest priority. I have been successful in the Customer Support business managing large teams and budgets in excess of $100 Million annually. I understand what it takes to be financially responsible and how to analyze a budget to find efficiencies to help achieve financial objectives. In addition, I know how to work as part of a larger team and with other departments to achieve a unified vision. I am committed to doing that for Clinton. Key Priorities - Work with the community to establish a long-term plan for land use and zoning - Recalibrate the budget to avoid additional tax increases and to ensure spending on critical services and investments that support a community vision - Improve access to city council actions and decisions through improved communication - Modify multi-family zoning regulations to reduce maximum density and limit the multi-family units per development

I’m Zack Hatch, a lifelong public servant, coach, and small business owner dedicated to strengthening our community. I spent nearly 20 years as a firefighter and paramedic before retiring due to a line-of-duty injury. That experience taught me how to lead under pressure, serve with integrity, and solve problems with a calm, steady hand. After retiring from emergency service, I launched Utah Speed and Strength, where I’ve trained and mentored youth athletes across Davis County. I’ve coached youth football for over two decades and am deeply invested in helping the next generation grow into strong, confident leaders. As a husband and father raising three children here in Clinton, I understand the needs of working families. I’m running for City Council to ensure Clinton remains safe, family-focused, and fiscally responsible as we grow. I bring real-world leadership, deep roots in this community, and a lifelong commitment to service. I’m not a politician—I’m a resident who listens, shows up, and puts people first. I’d be honored to represent the citizens of Clinton and help shape a future that reflects our shared values.

I have been in leadership positions from my youth out of necessity. For fifteen years I have lived, shopped, worked, and actively participated in the Farmington community. The last four years I have been privileged to serve on the City Council. I love Farmington, and I’m thrilled to be seeking re-election. I’m asking for your continued support as I work hard to be a voice for Farmington residents. During my term I have served as the Council liaison for the Development Review Committee (DRC), Communities that Care (Central 3 CTC), the Historic Preservation Commission, Youth City Council, the Parks, Recreation, Arts, and Trails (PRAT) committee, and multiple departments and subcommittees. Some of my favorite projects have been, the purchase of the Rock Mill, fiber optics with no city bond, new 16-acre park, westside fire station, and preservation of historic homes. My husband, Jeremy, and I are parents to seven children. I love that Farmington is a safe place to raise my family. Our Police and Fire Departments are phenomenal! I have participated in city government without any personal agenda; rather, I am a mother, wife, teacher, citizen, and neighbor. I am willing to continue to listen, learn, and honorably represent the citizens of Farmington. I’d love to have your vote.

I’m running for Mayor because I have the experience needed to help our City continue to be the wonderful place we all like to call home. We need a Mayor that Understands: • Ordinances, policies and procedures. My experience serving on the Planning Commission and the City Council gives me that understanding. • The importance of being prepared for Emergencies and knows proper procedures. I have extensive training as well as experience serving with the Emergency Preparedness Committee. We need a Mayor that Values: • Fiscal Responsibility. I have been an advocate for keeping Fruit Heights debt free and working to keep our expenses low. • Community involvement on all levels – especially when major changes are being considered. We need input from all demographics in our City. • Continual transparency - with open and timely communication from City officials. We’ve made improvements in our communications and are always looking for ideas to continue to improve. I welcome your input! We need a Mayor that continues to: • Preserve the Community and Traditions that cause us to want to live in Fruit Heights. • Work for what the citizens of Fruit Heights value. • Stand up for our City. Leadership that Listens. No Hidden Agenda. Dedicated, Principled, Trusted. I want to keep Fruit Heights the gem of the county that it is, and provide leadership that listens, communicates, and is drama-free. Our city deserves nothing less. Let’s promote Fruit Heights businesses, while preserving Fruit Heights’ residential charm and cherished parks and trails. For 17.5 years we have raised our family in Fruit Heights. Eight years ago, I was elected to our City Council. I have experience with budget and ordinances, with the Utah League of Cities and Towns, with working together in Council and with staff, and more. I hold principles of transparency, fiscal conservatism (avoid debt), fact-based and drama-free communication, and of the critical need to gather all perspectives—your voice matters! It’s time for new leadership. We don’t need a mayor who dictates every answer – we need a mayor who arrives at better answers, through good-faith, open exchange in Council and with staff and residents. It's not about who is right, but rather about what is right for Fruit Heights. This is truly the way representative government should function. If these values resonate with you, I ask for your vote this November 4. Thank you! --Jeanne www.Jeanne4fruitheights.com 801-635-9053

I’m a CISSP-certified cybersecurity professional and small-business owner running to serve the community I love. I earned a bachelor’s in Cybersecurity & Information Assurance and have supported national-security missions at Hill Air Force Base and U.S. Southern Command, which taught me how to protect complex systems and make clear, accountable decisions under pressure. I’m also the founder of Uinta Exterior Services, where I’ve grown a local service business from the ground up—hiring, budgeting, delivering on time, and learning firsthand what it takes to create jobs and serve customers well. Outside of work, I’ve spent 5+ years coaching high-school wrestling, which reinforced my belief in discipline, mentorship, and showing up for people. I’m a husband and soon-to-be father, invested in building a safe, modern, and opportunity-rich city for families and small businesses alike. If we work together, expect straightforward communication, clear goals, and a bias toward practical results. I value diverse experience, initiative, and integrity. Let’s connect and see how your strengths can make an immediate impact.

Born and raised in Kaysville. I attended Sam Morgan Elementary, Kaysville Junior High, and graduated from Davis High School. My wife and I are raising our five children here, including 8-year-old twins. Over the years, we've seen Kaysville change—but it’s still home. I’m running for Kaysville City Council because I want future generations to enjoy the same safe, welcoming hometown I did. I remember riding my bike to the Kaysville Theatre, stopping by Bowman’s, and feeling a strong sense of community. As we grow, I believe we can preserve that charm by making thoughtful, resident-focused decisions. I want to be a voice for the people—someone who listens, works collaboratively, and follows through. My priorities include clear communication from the city, smart planning for the Main Street project, and responsible housing development. With over 24 years in the real estate industry, I understand how growth impacts families and neighborhoods. I’ve helped many find homes here, and I care deeply about how Kaysville grows moving forward. Let’s work together to Keep Kaysville, Kaysville—because home should always feel like home.

As Vice President of North America Credit Unions and former CEO of a software cooperative serving over 50 organizations, I bring deep experience in leadership, strategic planning, and financial stewardship. I’ve led teams in operations, sales, product development, and implementation—skills I believe translate directly to effective city governance. In addition to my professional roles, I serve as President of a youth sports club supporting 120 athletes and have previously advised the Clinton City Youth Council. I also chair the Utah chapter of the Global Women’s Leadership Network, demonstrating my commitment to community development and inclusive leadership. After five years in Kaysville, I’ve seen firsthand the value of a close-knit community that champions local businesses, offers strong recreation programs, and prioritizes quality of life. I’m running for City Council to ensure Kaysville continues to thrive through thoughtful growth, strong support for small businesses, and continued investment in city services and community spaces. I believe in servant leadership. With my business background and ability to see how systems connect, I’ll work collaboratively to make decisions grounded in the big picture—not in isolation. Kaysville deserves smart, transparent leadership—and I’m ready to serve.

I’m Trevor Lee Foust— a Layton resident of 10 years, engineering leader, and committed youth coach—running for mayor to secure “a better future for our children.” I grew up in Kaysville and Vancouver, paying my way through college by running a small roofing business, and earned both a B.S. and M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering. My wife of 22 years and I are now raising our three children right here in Layton. Professionally, I lead a nationwide engineering organization at Hill Air Force Base, where I test and validate our current and next-generation nuclear deterrent systems. My career has spanned explosive testing, infrastructure management, budgeting, and strategic planning. After a mishap at the Little Mountain test facility, I redesigned a milling system, which my work earned me the Air Force’s General Larry O. Spencer Innovation Award for safety and efficiency. For the last decade, I’ve coached youth football, basketball, softball, baseball, and soccer—instilling perseverance, teamwork, and confidence. As mayor, I’ll plan growth responsibly, modernize infrastructure, support police and fire services, and expand parks and recreation so every family—and especially every child—can thrive.

Hello Layton friends, I'm Jory Rand Argyle & I'd be honored to earn your vote for city council. My roots in Layton are deep. My 3rd great-grandfather Joseph Hill built Layton's first cabin. Layton's named after another 3rd great-grandfather, Christopher Layton. My grandparents, Jay & Odessa Harris, owned the dairy on Antelope Drive during the decades of Layton's greatest growth. Now I'm fulfilling my dream, raising my four kids in Layton. Professionally, I spent 18 years at CRH developing leaders and empowering co-workers. Today I test next-generation systems at Hill AFB, balancing rigorous standards with tight budgets. I'll use the same foresight and discipline with city planning and finances. My plan rests on three commitments: Celebrate Layton's Heritage, Foster Integrity, & Strategically Plan for Prosperity. Each commitment builds off of and is reliant on the other. Layton's growth is exciting, but only if we shape it together. I'm listening; please reach out or grant me a few minutes of your time while I'm out in neighborhoods leading up to the election. Let's keep the best of Layton's past and create even better tomorrows.

Raised and educated in Layton, my commitment to family and community began at an early age. Watching my parents, grandparents, neighbors, and mentors work together on family farms in West Layton. Supporting each other through hard work and common aspirations so all had the opportunity to succeed. I attended Layton Elementary, Central Davis Jr. High, Layton High School and graduated from Weber State University. My wife and I have raised three children in Layton and each has graduated from the University of Utah and are working in business, non-profit and academia. I have a lifetime of experience in agriculture and over 40 years professional experience in multiple fields: government services, industrial construction, housing development, and environmental and water conservation. I have been a leader in my church and a local philanthropic organization which provides educational scholarships and supports local non-profit healthcare providers for uninsured and underinsured individuals and families. I strive to educate myself on the matters at hand by seeking advice from industry experts, stakeholders, and the individuals most affected, all with the goal of coming to a balanced and versatile solution. In my free time, I enjoy working on my family farm, traveling, and fishing Utah’s lakes.

Thank you for taking the time to become an informed voter. Twenty-eight years ago, Linda and I chose to make North Salt Lake our home and raise our four children here. It has been a wonderful place for our family, and I am committed to keeping it a strong, vibrant community. For 30 years, I have worked as a commercial property manager in downtown Salt Lake. My professional experience, combined with years of public service, has prepared me to address the challenges and opportunities facing our city. Before serving as Mayor, I spent 14 years on the City Council and 6 years on the Planning Commission. During this time, North Salt Lake has grown, adding the Foxboro community, the Eagleridge area, the final phases of Eaglewood, and the unincorporated north side. With that growth, I have prioritized responsible development, upgrading aging infrastructure, beautification, and expanding parks—including Foxboro Wetlands Park and the Hatch Park redesign. Looking ahead, the newly announced homeless campus southwest of our city is a challenge. I am committed to ensuring its impact is mitigated. Together, we can keep North Salt Lake a great place to live, work, and play. For more information, please visit brianhorrocks.com.

I am a long-time resident of North Salt Lake. I have raised my family here, and love living here and associating with my fellow residents. My interest in city government began in 1996, when construction development began below my home on the hillside adjoining my property. In defense of encroachment onto my property, I complained before the City Council. When the next vacancy occurred on the City Planning Commission, I was invited by then-Mayor Wright to sit on that commission, which I did for five years – three years as the Commission Chairman. I was encouraged to learn by participating that citizens of the City can make a difference in the governance and quality of life in the City, and subsequently ran for City Council. I have served a total of ten years as a member of the City Council, where I served as the Council advisor to the Youth City Council, and was involved in organizing and administering the City’s Senior Lunch Bunch – so I have advocated for both youth and seasoned citizens in the City. I greatly enjoyed representing the citizens of North Salt Lake in the past, and would be pleased to extend that service into the future.

Hello, my name is Heidi Smoot and I want your vote for North Salt Lake City Council. My husband Shandell and I have called North Salt Lake home for 26 years, and we have raised our four children here, all proud Woods Cross High graduates. I love this city’s small-town charm, its easy access to trails, downtown, and the airport, but most of all, I love the people. As a former public-school teacher and current member of both the Bountiful Davis Arts and North Salt Lake Arts Councils, I want to continue to enrich our community through public service on the city council. I believe in preserving what makes North Salt Lake special, while planning responsibly for the future. I’m committed to fiscally sound decisions, clean and safe communities, great roads and parks, family-centered values, and ensuring our city remains a place where everyone feels welcome to live and raise their families. Hi. I’m Alisa. It’s been my honor to serve as your North Salt Lake city council member for the last 4 years, as a planning commissioner, and as chair of the Parks and Arts Committee before that. In my professional work, I teach at the University of Utah in the Family Studies Department. Seventeen years ago, my husband and I picked Foxboro as the place to set down roots and raise our four children. I am the only candidate and the only current city councilmember who lives on the westside. I bring a different, lived experience in our city. I believe the best way for the city council to represent it’s citizens is to draw from all areas of the city. As a Councilmember, I have supported sensible budgets, public safety, expanding trails, public art, and community connection in our schools and neighborhoods. In the next four years, I will prioritize a strategic plan for the city that highlights the charm of our different neighborhoods, our big city access, and our vibrant diversity. I want to showcase what makes NSL a wonderful place to live for everyone from new parents, single professionals, bustling families and retired folks.

Hello, I am Ryan Holbrook, candidate for City of North Salt Lake City Council. I was born and raised in Davis County and have been a resident of North Salt Lake since 2016. My wife and I chose to make North Salt Lake our home because we fell in love with the small town community presence while also being a city full of diversity. We knew we wanted to make it home and one day raise a family here. I have served on the City of North Salt Lake Planning Commission for the past three years. Helping to grow and expand our community to continue leading it to its fullest potential. I hope to bring further change to the City of North Salt Lake, serving all of our unique residents by becoming your next city council member. I am an advocate for our trails, recreational programs, revitalizing our city and bridging the gap between our homes and where the heart of our industries resides. My family and I take joy in attending city events; the annual kite festival, winter lights festival, liberty fest, food trucks, hiking and biking our tails and other activities that have strengthened and connected our communities.

Write “Gary Widders” on your ballot for NSL City Council. The NSL government should not sponsor group that advocates for abortions, males in women’s sports, etc. I will help our city provide economic security to protect the elderly, families, women, and children. I will vote to discontinue funding of the city’s ill-conceived hobby that has cost tens of millions of dollars/gallons of water; an activity 70% of people do not like and 85% will never participate in (online poll). I will prioritize the agenda to return discretionary funds to you with rebates and lower taxes. I submit for a gentle DOGE and the savings in the millions of dollars be returned to NSL residents. I do not go-along to get-along, but listen to every individual concern. Folks not on a committee have the same representation as those on a committee. I value everyone’s feedback, concerns, and recommendations all the same. Every NSL area deserves attention. As your city council I will represent you by not being a puppet, pigeonholed, deterred, or wrongly tasked. I would be honored to serve each of you. Elect your fellow NSL resident of 21 years, write in Gary Widders.

Since joining the Sunset City Council in 2018, I've supported the causes that matter most to you. I've dedicated myself to serving our great community. In 2024, I stepped up to lead as Mayor through challenging times with the steady leadership you deserve. My track record speaks for itself: I've advocated for senior involvement in city decisions/ events, spearheaded park improvements benefiting families and veterans, and fostered increased community engagement. My service includes board positions with the North Davis Fire District and North Davis Sewer District, bringing valuable regional perspective to local governance. I consistently fight for what makes our community thrive—supporting local businesses, promoting farmers markets, encouraging responsible development, and ensuring our parks and Fun Days remain vibrant community gathering places. Your safety remains my top priority, implementing measures that protect every resident. I listen, act, and deliver results. I build bridges, not walls, fostering the unity our city needs to face tomorrow's challenges. When I'm not serving the community, I cherish time with my family, enjoy music, golf, and escaping to beautiful Flaming Gorge. These moments remind me what truly matters—community, connection, and the natural beauty we're blessed to call home. Together we got this!

I’m running for Sunset City Council because I care deeply about the kind of community we are building. As a husband and father of six, I want Sunset to be a place where families feel welcome, safe, and proud to call home. My goal is to make our city more family-friendly while still preserving the small-town charm that makes it special. I’m also committed to tackling housing costs so families can afford to live and grow here. Sunset should be a place where young families can put down roots, where long-time residents can stay, and where everyone has the opportunity to enjoy the quality of life our city has to offer. Finally, as the owner of five small businesses, I understand the challenges and opportunities that local business owners face. I want to help small businesses not only survive but thrive—making Sunset a community that attracts and supports entrepreneurs while strengthening our local economy.

Katherine would strive to find better ways to communicate important information and get more people involved in this city’s decision-making process so there are no surprises. For 19 years, my family and I have proudly called Syracuse home. My commitment to our community is proven through dedicated public service, including four years on the Planning Commission—three as Chairman—and my current role on the City Council. This experience has taught me to listen carefully to our citizens, business owners, and city staff to best navigate the challenges facing our community. I am committed to evaluating all viewpoints to make decisions that serve the best interests of every resident. Syracuse has a bright future that requires balanced growth, sound fiscal policy, and open collaboration. I have seen the dedication of our residents firsthand and, if elected, I will apply my experience to continue the great progress we’ve made. I would be honored to have your vote.

I am running for a second term in this office to continue the work I have been doing successfully of changing our economic position. I devoted my personal time to business development, alternative funding opportunities, and responsible leadership with transparency and data drive decisions. Syracuse has seen record business growth that is needed to diversify our tax base and be less dependent on individual citizens. Syracuse has seen record grant funding during my term of office. As a city we have pushed as much as possible into public meetings and do background work, so the council has available data regarding decisions that affect our citizens. My experience both in government and private sector leadership benefits the city. My drive to put in the extra work shows results. I personally respond and inform our citizens with frequent updates. Many new businesses are interested in opening here in our city. We need to finish the job, bringing these services and alternate tax sources here. I have led with solutions, innovation, and data driven plans for a better future. We don’t control everything that impacts us, but we can plan to manage those impacts better led by experience. We accomplished a lot and we have more to finish. Re-elect experience and dedication.

Dell Butterfield — Leadership Profile I bring a proven blend of executive skills and grassroots service to mayoral leadership. My core competencies include financial planning and oversight, strategic vision and policy development, complex problem solving, collaborative stakeholder engagement, transparent communication, negotiation, and performance accountability. In addition to corporate leadership, I have invested decades in South Davis County through governance and volunteer service. I serve as a voting member of the Legislative Policy Committee for the Utah League of Cities and Towns and as a Board Member of the South Davis Recreation District. I have coached competitive youth soccer for over 20 years, volunteered in West Bountiful Community Cleanup efforts, and acted as City Council Liaison to the Planning and Zoning Council. I am a member of WB’s Emergency Preparedness Advisory Committee, co author of our community’s current Emergency Preparedness Plan, and a graduate of the Davis County Citizen’s Police Academy. My service includes leadership roles in my church and as former Chairman of The Road Home, Utah’s largest homeless shelter. From policy tables to neighborhood projects, I lead with fiscal discipline, strategic foresight, and a commitment to keeping West Bountiful safe, vibrant, and prepared for the future.

West Bountiful is my home. I want to serve the community that I have called home for 30 years of my life. I have a broad academic background with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering with minors in Mandarin and Ceramics from the University of Utah. I have spent the last seven years working in Environmental Compliance at the HF Sinclair (Holly) Refinery. Through that I have sharpened my eye for detail and have seen the consequences of convoluted or unclear regulation. I believe in a measured approach, seeking to understand the different perspectives that surround issues, and seeking the best overall outcome. I want to continue the good work of past councils in improving and maintaining city infrastructure, and supporting the people that make that happen, while bringing a younger and perhaps unique perspective. I appreciate your consideration and vote for West Bountiful City Council. For more information see RST4WB.com

“Leave things (and people) better than you found them” is something I have tried to emulate during the thirty-six years we have lived in West Bountiful. I want to help preserve West Bountiful for future generations, not just the three generations of my family that currently reside here. My husband, Scott, and I have invested heavily in this community over the decades. As owners of two local businesses, we gave hundreds of teens their first job and mentored them. We provided a nurturing space for adults returning to the workforce or going through transitional periods of life. We have sponsored school and community events, coached sports, and provide service in our church. I was PTA president at the elementary school twice and now substitute teach in the district. I currently volunteer on a small committee tasked by the state to establish the first ever hospice in the Utah prison system, and I serve as a vice-president on the Executive Board of the International Society Daughters of Utah Pioneers. I believe that my skillset, open-mindedness, and integrity give me the ability to listen to and represent all members of this rich and diverse community.

It has been an honor to serve as Mayor of West Point City over the past four years. My heart is in this work, and I remain committed to leading with integrity, transparency, and a sincere desire to serve our residents. Before becoming mayor, I served nearly a decade on the West Point Planning Commission, including five years as Chair. That experience gave me a strong foundation in managing growth while protecting the character of our community. Throughout my term, I’ve worked closely with Davis County, neighboring cities, UDOT, the Davis School District, North Davis Fire District, Wasatch Integrated Waste, and the North Davis Sewer District. I currently serve on the executive boards of all entities that provide services to our city. I’ve gained a deep appreciation for the responsibility that comes with managing taxpayer dollars and strive to use them wisely and transparently. West Point is growing, and with that comes the need for thoughtful planning. I support smart, well-managed development that strengthens our local economy while preserving the hometown values we all cherish. With gratitude for the opportunity to serve, I respectfully ask for your continued support. www.vincent4mayor.com

Born and raised in West Point, where many of my church leaders and schoolteachers are now my neighbors. Their example helped shape my faith in Christ and my deep love for this community. I served 11 years in the U.S. military and later worked for the FAA as an Air Traffic Controller, holding several management roles in the federal government. On 9/11, after working through that tragic day, I knew it was time to come home to West Point. Today, I live here with my wife and six children, surrounded by extended family. I care deeply about West Point’s future and want to ensure it remains a safe, welcoming, and family-focused place to live. As our city continues to grow, I believe we must do so responsibly—preserving the small-town values that make West Point special while preparing for a strong and sustainable future. I’m running for mayor to serve with integrity, rooted in faith, guided by experience, and committed to protecting the values we hold dear: faith in God, love of country, and a lasting investment in our families and community.

I’ve lived in the same home in West Point for 32 years, raised my family here, and grown to love this city. Though not a Utah native, I’ve called this state home since 1987. I’m running because I believe West Point needs responsible, resident-focused leadership. Growth is inevitable—but it must be smart and controlled, not driven by outside (or inside) developers. I oppose the expectation that property will be rezoned upon sale. Zoning decisions should prioritize what’s best for our community, not purchaser interests. I also believe in transparency and honest communication. Many residents feel left in the dark on key issues. We need a city government that proactively engages the public and respects our input—not one that treats public comment as a formality. I’m not a builder, developer, or realtor. I spent 41 years in air traffic control and air traffic management. I’m a neighbor, a parent/grandparent, and am the director of a food bank/ministry for over 20 years. My family is rooted here. I want to keep West Point safe, livable, and balanced—for all of us. For more information, see my Facebook page "Ken Whitaker for West Point City council".

As a longtime resident of West Point, I’m running for re-election to City Council because I believe smart growth requires thoughtful planning and a deep understanding of our community’s needs. Over the past four years, I’ve gained valuable insight into how our city operates. As the Council liaison to the Planning Commission, I’ve studied zoning regulations, general plans, land-use codes, and state requirements. I’ve seen firsthand how deliberate, well-informed decisions shape the future of our city. My background is in education, and I’m also a mother and a grandparent. That lens drives me to prioritize safety—especially for children walking to and from school—and to consider how new developments will affect our neighborhoods and schools. As a taxpayer myself, I approach the city budget with care. I ask the hard questions: How will this affect our citizens? Are we being fiscally responsible? Do impact fees adequately cover the true cost of growth? I’m committed to preserving the small-town feel that makes West Point special, even as we plan for gradual, sustainable growth. If re-elected, I will continue to work hard, listen carefully, and represent our citizens with integrity and transparency.

My name is Jeremy Strong, and I am seeking your vote for the West Point City Council. I have lived in West Point for over 20 years with my wife and our four children. With 20 years of experience in the flooring industry, I have also served 12 years on the Planning Commission, including two years as chairman. During my time on the commission, I focused on safeguarding the rights of property owners and preserving West Point’s identity as a rural community. I opposed changes to the general plan by developers, as well as the construction of high-density housing solely to attract commercial businesses. I advocated for residents' rights to keep animals on their properties, adding chickens in residential areas, and opposing the removal of roosters. I have witnessed too many leaders forget who elected them while advancing their own agendas. I pledge to be your voice on the council, promoting open and transparent government, maintaining West Point's rural character, and fostering our close-knit neighborhoods. Thank you for your support, and I look forward to representing you. Please follow me on Facebook and Instagram.

Woods Cross has been my home for 24 years. My husband and I raised our three children here, and I have had the privilege of teaching at Woods Cross Elementary and serving our schools and families for more than two decades. Through years of PTA leadership at the local, council, regional, and state levels, I’ve worked alongside families, educators, and community leaders to strengthen schools, guide budgets, and support students through times of change. I’ve collaborated with law enforcement and policymakers on child safety, testified before the Legislature, and helped communities adapt during the challenges of COVID-19—all with the goal of protecting and uplifting our children and families. I am running for City Council because I believe Woods Cross deserves leaders who listen first, act responsibly, and adapt with integrity. My guiding values are clear: listen so every voice is heard, act with fairness and responsibility, and keep the greater good in mind while honoring individual needs. Our city is built on hard work, community, and care for one another. I am committed to protecting those values while helping Woods Cross move forward with strength, unity, and purpose.
