Hill Air Force Base (HAFB) has been a crucial component of Utah’s economy for over half a century. As Utah’s largest employer, HAFB has provided jobs both on Base and through numerous contractors.
The East Gate Industrial/Business Park, adjacent to the east border of HAFB, is designed to support HAFB operations. The City has recently installed infrastructure and public utilities on the East Gate site to facilitate development. The City will install more infrastructure and public utilities as needed for future developments. The East Gate site is accommodating and can house a wide variety of industries. This development is zoned to allow HAFB contractors the location and flexibility needed to maximize efficiency; HAFB is constructing a new east gate to allow contractors direct access to and from HAFB into East Gate Development
