Important Notice

Animal Care of Davis County will be closed for business on August 20th, 27th and September 03rd to provide required training for our staff. If you need immediate assistance for an animal emergency during this time, we will have limited field staff available to serve you. Thank you for your patience as we work to become the best Animal Care and Control agency in the State of Utah.

About Animal Care

Davis County Animal Care is committed to providing great service to residents and compassionate care to animals, working tirelessly to support public safety, find homes for homeless animals and educate the community about responsible pet ownership.

We are a Socially Conscious Animal Welfare Organization, which means we place every single healthy and safe pet. We also address the medical and behavioral needs of all animals while they are in our care. If an animal is suffering and cannot be helped, we will provide compassionate euthanasia.

Looking for a pet? We have many dogs, cats, puppies, kittens, rabbits, birds and other small animals available for adoption. Who knows…You may find your new best friend!
