2021 Festival Safety Protocols
We look forward to providing attendees with a top tier Festival experience this year in a safe and socially distanced manner. With precautions in mind, we will say goodbye in 2021 to large group gatherings, bus tours, and in-person workshops. Field trips will have smaller attendee capacities and will be self-drive only to adhere to safety regulations. The safety of our attendees, volunteers, and partners is of the utmost importance, just as we look to protect the birds and the land they call home if only for a short while on their migratory path.
Please be aware of the following COVID-19 protocols:
All 2021 field trips are “drive your own vehicle”. There will be no bus transportation available. We strongly encourage attendees to not carpool with others outside of your household.
Face masks are mandatory throughout the Festival.
Verbal symptom check will be conducted at the beginning of each field trip during check-in with the trip leader.
Please adhere to the minimum 6 foot social distancing guidelines while on field trips and interacting with fellow Festival attendees, volunteers, and staff.
Hand sanitizer will be available, however we encourage frequent handwashing and keeping personal sanitizer with you during Festival activities.
Participants who have tested positive within 2 weeks of the festival or who are currently experiencing COVID-19, cold or flu like symptoms must refrain from participating (full refund will be made if this applies).
Participants are asked to refrain from sharing equipment with one another.
