We'll begin by meeting at one of the City Library locations right next to the Jordan River Parkway for a quick discussion about birding. We'll talk through all of the great free resources available through the library, the internet, and other programs in the area, learn how to use field guides to identify and find birds and other wildlife, and how to use eBird and iNaturalist. After our workshop, we'll head out for a bit of group birding and identify the birds commonly seen in the Salt Lake Valley and practice using our free resources and library books to enhance our appreciation of wildlife and the outdoors. Kids and families are encouraged to join!
