Embark on an adventure through Mueller Park's newly opened hiking trails, where miles of unexplored terrain await your discovery! Lace up your hiking boots and prepare to explore some of Davis County's most stunning hiking trails. Mueller's rich riparian habitats offer a unique birding experience as we listen for the melodious songs of hidden birds within the foliage and underbrush. Our trek will lead us to a high ridge, overlooking sweeping vistas of the valley and the Great Salt Lake, where we'll watch the sunset over Antelope Island. With several thousand feet in elevation gain, be sure to pack plenty of water and snacks to fuel our adventure. Get ready to immerse yourself in the beauty of Mueller Park and enjoy the company of numerous birds along the way. The hike down the canyon will be after sunset, headlamps with extra batteries are required. Flashlights and insect repellent are encouraged. 

*Participants are required to provide own headlamp.
