Welcome to our 3rd annual Great Salt Lake Bird Festival photo contest. Share your favorite photos of birds taken in Utah and enter to win fun prizes, including tickets to festival events and merchandise.

The contest opens for photo submissions on November 3, 2023 and closes on November 18, 2023. Winners will be crowned for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place with a special People's Choice winner for the photo with the most votes!

Vote for your favorite photo HERE. You may vote once per day, per picture until November 27, 2023. Don’t forget to share on social media with your family and friends for more votes! 

Helpful Reminders: 

Photos must be taken in the state of Utah within the past 5 years, with a preference in judging given to those in the Northern Utah area, specifically around or near the Great Salt Lake, Antelope Island, and the surrounding bird sanctuaries.

Images must be submitted in .jpeg or .tiff format and include a bird or birds.

Images should be submitted with the highest quality with regard to file size, bit depth and resolution and be shot by the entrant. Images that have been submitted in past GSLBF photo contests cannot be submitted again.

By submitting photos to this contest, you agree to all terms included in the 2023 Photo Contest Waiver Agreement
