The Bountiful Branch Library opened in 1969 and at 24,000 square feet is the largest branch in the Davis County Library system.  Originally built to house the senior citizens center on the east side of the lower level, the space was remodeled in 2000 for use as a children’s room.

The building features a large auditorium on the lower level, quiet study area, tables with electrical plugs for laptop use and a large collection of books, audio books, films, music, magazines and internet pc’s for public use.

The branch offers numerous programs for children including weekly storytimes and hosts best-selling author events several times a year.  With Wi-Fi connectivity and a collection that responds to a wide range of reading tastes the branch is well suited for individual study and exploration as well as a community gathering space where information and ideas are exchanged.

As in all library locations, programs designed to meet the needs of or entertain  patrons of all ages are made available to our patrons at no cost. For instance, patrons can learn how to plant a garden, develop photographic talents, interact with reptiles, hear from a favorite author or enjoy storytimes planned and presented by savvy storytellers.
